Congrats Willis!

Updated: Nov 21, 2021

Big congratulations to our Undergraduate Research Assistant I, Willis Holle, on getting accepted into a research lab at Harvard University! Willis will be working in the Ethical Intelligence Lab under Principal Investigator, Dr. Julian De Freitas, contributing to projects at the intersection of psychology, ethics, and engineering. Specifically, he will be studying autonomous machines and tools, including self-driving cars and artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots; and using traditional methods in experimental psychology as well as virtual reality and machine learning, while drawing on theoretical insights from game theory, evolutionary biology, and philosophy.

Willis is preparing for a future PhD program in either physics or computational neuroscience. He hopes to attend Harvard, MIT, Caltech, Oxford, or Cambridge University.
