Congrats Sarah!

Big congratulations to our Research Manager, Sarah Cunningham, for being admitted to Maastricht University for a Master's of Science (M.Sc.) degree in neuropsychology!

Sarah is the first woman in her family to get accepted to a master's program, and hopes to advance breakthrough psychedelic therapies for trauma- and stress-related psychopathology, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and end-of-life anxiety (ELA). She is also leading her first manuscript as first-author on a scoping review concerning inclusion of people of color (POC) in 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA)-assisted psychotherapy trials for PTSD.

These are incredible accomplishments that reflect Sarah's enduring work ethic, commitment to clinical research, and passion to improve mental health. As a mentor to other students within the IRLG, she additionally is a natural leader and inspiration to many.

We cannot wait for Sarah's next journey in the Netherlands come fall of 20222 - congrats!
