I understand that I am expected to volunteer 5-6 hours per week.

I understand that I must re-apply to the IRLG each term.

Re-Applications for the 2024 Spring Term are Open

All members in the IRLG are required to re-apply each term, if they would like to continue with the group. Re-applications are designed as ‘reflection points’, where members evaluate their performance to date and reasons for re-applying, as well as what projects they want to continue working on or start. Re-applications are also opportunities to detail personal hardship that might have deterred performance in the IRLG, and to re-align interests, projects, and commitments. As a friendly reminder, the IRLG looks for highly motivated individuals who are industrious, quick learners, and committed to ongoing projects; and who have at least 2 years of research experience, excellent scientific writing skills, and proficiency in data analysis (e.g., R programming).

Unfortunately, not everyone is successful in re-applying, due to a variety of reasons. If you are not successful, we encourage you to stay in touch and re-apply in the future.
